Plaque in memory of William Steavens

This plaque is on the south wall of the chancel, and is curved, having once been fitted to one of the main pillars in the nave.  A full translation would be welcome; he was a soldier ("Militis") and was 54 (Aetat. suae = his years) when he died on 5th March 1712.  This memorial was placed by Thomas Steavens his son(?).
